WELCOME

We are the champion G4A pipe band in Perth Western Australia. Supported by Lotterywest, we perform at major community events in Perth and rural Western Australia. We even perform at highland gatherings in South East Asia. If you're interested in getting your next function off on the right foot, get info about hiring us here. If you're from another band, hello! We trust you'll enjoy your visit. Click below to watch us perform...

what we do

The piercing cry of a Drum Major. The attention-grabbing whir of a drum roll. The distinctive striking-up of a corps of bagpipers. There’s nothing like a pipe band to add instant atmosphere and pageantry to any function.

Street Parades

There's nothing like a pipe band to get everyone in step. We lead the ANZAC march in Pinjarra each year and play the Channel 7 Christmas Pageant, St Patricks parades, country show street marches and other processions.

Fairs & Country Shows

We love a bus trip to the country and are happy to stay overnight. We perform at agricultural shows, B&S Balls, and bush races. Typically, we lead a parade and then provide music throughout the day.

Weddings

Add some atmosphere to your wedding with a full pipe band, mini band or solo piper. We perform at lots of weddings and make a great backdrop for your bride and groom photos!

Concerts

We have experience playing with rock bands, orchestras and folk groups. We can also bring our own backing tracks to stage a concert performance, and can include highland dancers in our program.

Solo piping

Our band includes champion solo pipers, who are always available for engagements such as funerals, weddings, birthdays and other events. Contact us for a quote.

Competitions

We keep our playing standard very high by competiting in local, national and international pipe band contests. Check our calendar of events to see our next competition or see us perform on our YouTube channel.

Join us

We’re always on the lookout for players. Our motto is “play good music and have a laugh” which means it’s as much about the banter as perfecting our skills on the chanter. We maintain a high musical standard by competing locally, nationally and internationally at G4A level. We have consistently won the WA State Championships and other contests for over a decade and came second in the 2019 South East Asian Championships in Singapore. The band has lots of fun bagpiping in Perth, where we play at major events and celebrations. We also regularly tour rural Western Australia, playing at agricultural shows. And, every year, we travel to Jakarta, Indonesia, for the St Andrews Ball. To see our musical repertoire, click here. Contact our secretary for more information, and we look forward to welcoming you to our band practice, any Monday night.
